  • Reservations are obligatory once availability has been checked by our office.
  • All prices are understood to be for a departure from, and return to, Vienne.
  • guide's travel expenses for outside assistance will be invoiced as an extra.
  • Any cancellation less than 48 hours before the planned service will give rise to payment of the service in full.  
  • General terms of sale are available on request.
  • All reservations take effect on receipt of the order form by our office. The final number stated 48 hours before the service will be invoiced. For your enjoyment of the visit, we recommend an upper limit of 30 participants per group.

Guided tour of Septème castle, an historic monument (10th to 16th centuries)

 

In ancient Roman times, the 'seventh military post' of the road connecting Vienne to Aosta (Italy) was located at the site of Septème. A castle, whose ruins are still there today, was built during the 10th and 11 centuries.
